Fintokei’s FINTO5KEI is one of the few prop-firm coupon codes we can state a number for: 5% off, confirmed by Fintokei’s official materials rather than a third-party aggregator. The entry mechanics are on our Fintokei coupon page — here we do the math on what a challenge actually costs with the code, and explain why we do not count on the conditional fee refund.
Transparency first: FINTO5KEI is an official code Fintokei issues for partner blogs, and the links here are affiliate links. Fintokei confirmed on 2026-08-19 that using a coupon code overrides referral attribution, so this site earns nothing on purchases made with FINTO5KEI. Commissions never affect our reviews.
Fintokei’s pricing (verified from the Japanese site)
Fintokei is a Japan-focused prop firm running evaluation and education in a simulated environment — it is not a broker and does not hold client funds. Background is in our Fintokei reputation review.
Entry prices listed on the official Japanese site, checked 2026-09-26 (tax included; other currencies are shown at checkout):
| Plan | From (JPY) | Model |
|---|---|---|
| SwiftTrader | ¥9,800 (Iron, ¥1M) | 1-step, fast track |
| StartTrader | ¥10,000 (Beginner, ¥1M) | beginner, stepped evaluation |
| ProTrader | ¥12,500 (Quartz, ¥1M) | standard 2-step challenge |
We previously listed SwiftTrader from ¥23,800; that was wrong, and the smallest (Iron) tier costs ¥9,800.
Plan selection is covered in Fintokei plans compared. Prices can change — verify on the official site.
What FINTO5KEI takes off
Applying the official 5% to those entry tiers:
| Plan | List | With FINTO5KEI |
|---|---|---|
| SwiftTrader | ¥9,800 | ¥9,310 |
| StartTrader | ¥10,000 | ¥9,500 |
| ProTrader | ¥12,500 | ¥11,875 |
One honest caveat: Fintokei’s own tier documentation has also listed FINTO5KEI under repurchase discounts, while its partner materials promote it as a general 5% code. The practical rule is simple — enter the code, and only pay if the discounted total actually shows on the checkout screen.
The fee refund is conditional
The fee refund was retired and then reinstated in 2026. The old scaling programme ended on 21 January 2026 (Fintokei’s English FAQ still says so), and on 3 June 2026 the Scaling Dojo for Japanese users brought the refund back (Japanese FAQ, checked 2026-09-26). The unfavourable conditions first:
- For accounts bought on or after 11 June 2026, the refund is paid only after reaching White belt — 20 trading days and 2 payout requests (checked 2026-08-18 on the official FAQ chart) — not at the first payout
- The refund is what you paid minus any coupon discount, so with FINTO5KEI the refund base is the discounted price
- It needs an e-mail application to [email protected], and StartTrader is not eligible
We previously described this as a fee credited back with the first payout, which made a passed run look nearly free. That does not match the current terms and has been corrected. Because the refund depends on reaching White belt, the cost math below does not count on it:
| Scenario (ProTrader Quartz with FINTO5KEI) | Net cost |
|---|---|
| Buy at ¥11,875, pass, reach first payout | ~¥11,875 (no refund yet) |
| Same, then reach White belt (20 trading days, 2 payout requests) and apply | ~¥0 (the discounted ¥11,875 is refunded) |
| Fail once, pass on second attempt | at least ~¥11,875 (the failed fee never comes back) |
| Two failed attempts, walk away | ~¥23,750 |
Seen this way, the 5% code trims every purchase whether you pass or not, while the refund only matters if you keep a funded account going long enough to reach White belt. The payout mechanics are in our Fintokei payout guide.
5% standing code vs. campaign codes
Fintokei has issued official limited-time discounts above 20%, announced on its official blog: a one-day 23% off for the 3rd anniversary (2026-01-22) and a 48-hour 23% off SwiftTrader VIP pass (2026-02-11); Black Cat Friday on 2025-11-26 took 15% off all plans. On 2026-09-26 the latest campaign-tag post was the 2026-06-03 Scaling Dojo launch and no discount campaign was running, and such codes expire fast. Since only one code applies per checkout, check the official site (and official LINE, for Japanese readers) at purchase time and take the largest valid discount. FINTO5KEI, with no usage limit, is the one that always works.
Pre-purchase checklist
- Used the free trial (up to twice per plan) to test the environment?
- Read the Fintokei rules for prohibited practices?
- Does the checkout show the 5%-discounted total?
- Is a larger official campaign code currently live?
Evaluation fees are real money and passing is never guaranteed, and the fee refund needs White belt. Buy at a size you can afford to lose.
